Coveted Cosas

This is week 3 of Coveted Cosas. Keepin' it up and going strong! I am finding this is a great way to remember all things I admire from a far and want to purchase in the future. Today, I found 2 funky fab' shoes and 2 stand out outfits, enjoy!

-1-
Iron Fist
Dance Your Grave Spr Plt - Pink

I love these zombie wedged heels! I love the AMC Walking Dead . . .and pretty much anything zombie themed. These Iron Fist shoes are sold on heels.com priced at $79.99.

-2-
Taylor Says
 Calavera - Black Leather
Yes, yes, yes! Taylor Says has fulfilled one of my fashion dreams: to have a sugar skull print on wedge like, Jeffrey Campbell-esque Night walkers. What makes this even better are the fun, string like straps to hold you in. These beauts are sold at heels.com for $199.99. Want!

-3-
Boohoo

Boutique Sandra Brocade Matching Set

I rarely purchase a matching set, but this look could change that. The crop top and pleated skirt can be purchased separately at boohoo in their limited edition Boutique section. The top costs $40 and the skirt is $50.

SheInside

White Short Sleeve Buildings Bikes Print Silk Dress

Great statement piece. I love this sleek, modern dress and it costs $44.20 at sheinside.

Look - Chlorophyta Circles

Yikes, I can't sleep, so I'll do the next best thing and blog!

I named this look Chlorophyta Circles because Chlorophyta is the latin term for green algae, which often blooms in our pond. The polka dot shirt is actually a retro dress that I tucked in so I could pair it with my skirt. ;)

These pictures make it appear that Chicago is all warm and summery, but it's actually quite chilly (STILL, ew!!) even though it's green all around.

THE LOOK
Eye Makeup - Coastal Scent Eye Palette
Polka Dot Dress - Target
Mona Lisa Necklace and Matching Earrings
Black Skirt - American Apparel
Black and White Polka dot Sheer Socks - Urban Outfitters

Look - Chartreusely Blue

One of my ultimate favorite color blocking schemes: chartreuse and blue. This look was conceived with time, but it is one I love to wear on many occasions.

I am not afraid of repeating outfits, especially when I really enjoy it. My motto is wear what you love and own it, no shame.

Look - Bordar Mi Vida

Summer has me colorful and distance has me inspired. My personal style tends to be rather colorful, so I feel this is a great first post. The skirt was the foundation piece for this look. I purchased the bright embroidered skirt in Lima, Peru on February, 2013.

I've been to Peru many times and am constantly inspired by its traditional elements. Living in Chicago, I am also inspired by Mexican and other Latino influences. This piece is an ode to those beautiful and bold inspirations, with a modern twist.

The Look:
Traditional Peruvian Skirt - Market in Lima, Peru
Rainbow Knitted Vest - Forever 21
Flower Hair Pins - Beauty Dollar Store
Pink Heels -  Akira
Necklace - Market in Lima, Peru
